Welcome to Boston Bar, BC Boston Bar is a small town at the heart of the Fraser Canyon in British Columbia, Canada. It was named by the indigenous people after the Americans (“Boston men”) who panned for gold on the local sand bars of the Fraser River during the Gold Rush of the 1800s.
